On January 14, 2019, 熊猫视频submitted a comment letter to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) on a proposed rule aimed at streamlining the regulatory framework for managed care in Medicaid and the Children鈥檚 Health Insurance Program (CHIP). Our letter expresses appreciation for the Administration鈥檚 efforts to increase flexibility, reduce administrative burden, and ensure the Medicaid program鈥檚 ongoing ability to serve beneficiaries. We also voice strong concerns with several proposed changes to rate setting standards that would be inconsistent with statutory actuarial soundness requirements.
