Jennifer Ennis, MD

Dr. Jennifer Ennis serves as the Medical Director for Clinical and Digital Solutions at Labcorp, where she provides strategic clinical direction and oversight for the company's customer-facing technology solutions. In this role, she leads a team of clinicians dedicated to developing lab-based content and insights that enhance healthcare providers鈥� ability to deliver effective care to their patients.
Since joining Labcorp in 2009, Dr. Ennis has focused on creating guideline-based clinical decision support programs for chronic conditions such as chronic kidney disease (CKD), diabetes, and cardiovascular disease, empowering providers and patients with evidence-based tools at the point of care.
A practicing nephrologist at the University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago, Dr. Ennis also conducts clinical research in CKD and has authored several peer-reviewed publications and abstracts in the field.
Dr. Ennis completed her medical education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD). She went on to pursue both her residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in nephrology at the University of Chicago Medical Center. Prior to her medical training, she earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana.
