The report provides detailed information for each state on a range of categories, including:
- Number of lives covered by market (Employer, Individual, Medicaid managed care, Medicare Advantage).
- Total number of jobs supported directly and indirectly.
- Average wages and state taxes contributed.
- Individual marketplace coverage details.
鈥淕ood financial health is also important,鈥� Eyles continued. 鈥淭hat鈥檚 why health insurance providers are proud to provide and support nearly two million good-paying jobs across the nation.鈥�
According to the latest numbers from the U.S. Census Bureau, over had health insurance for all or part of 2020. Recent data from 础贬滨笔鈥檚 Coverage@Work campaign shows that 54% of the total U.S. population receives health insurance coverage through an employer.
