Washington, D.C. 鈥� April 5, 2022 鈥� Matt Eyles, President and CEO of AHIP, issued this statement as the Treasury Department and Internal Revenue Service proposed a rule to fix the 鈥渇amily glitch鈥� in the Affordable Care Act (ACA) by allowing the cost of family coverage to be considered when determining whether an employee鈥檚 spouse and dependents qualify for premium tax credits:
