Board Welcomes New Members Cain Hayes, President and CEO of Point32Health, and Eric C. Hunter, President and CEO of CareOregon
AHIP’s Board of Directors has elected , President and CEO of Highmark Health, Board Chair for the association, effective January 1, 2022. Holmberg will take the helm from , President and CEO of Humana Inc., who is serving as èƵBoard Chair through 2021.
“Americans are clear: They are looking for collaboration across health care for better experiences, better outcomes, and lower costs,” Holmberg said. “èƵis committed to solutions that increase value, improve equity, and result in better overall health. I am looking forward to engaging as Board Chair as we look ahead to 2022.”
As president and CEO of Highmark Health, Holmberg leads a $21 billion health insurance provider and regional hospital and physician network. Holmberg is a thought leader in improving affordability, access, and value in health care, including improving the whole patient experience, introducing innovation that improves the patient and consumer experience, and collaborating across the industry to align incentives and deliver greater value.
